R.C. "Pete" Tolman a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2025, at the age of 91 in St. George, Utah.
Born on October 24, 1933, in Salem, Utah, Pete was the 6th of 13 children born to Foster and Beulah Tolman. Pete learned to work very young. His first job at 5 years old was picking tomatoes. This created a love of work for the rest of his life. He learned early in life that if you want to achieve something, hard work was the key to success. Pete built a meaningful life through hard work, dedication, and love for his family. As a skilled contractor and successful business owner, he took great pride in his work, leaving behind a legacy of craftsmanship and integrity. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Pete was a man of deep passions - he loved horses, cherished the outdoors, and found his greatest joy in the time he spent with his family and his devoted wife, Arleen.
Pete is survived by his loving wife, Arleen Ann Halsey to whom he was married to on December 27, 1985, and later sealed to in the St. George temple on October 24, 1988. He is also survived by his children Randy (Jill) Tolman, Cindy Morrow, Tammy (Kyle) Naylor, Kristy (Jim) Veale, Rod (Jennifer) Tolman, Michael (Alyson) Tolman, Jill (Rick) Taylor, Kelli (Karl) Nelson, Heide (Greg) Price), Reagan (Cam) Adair, thirty-five grandchildren and too many great-grandchildren too count. He was previously married to Barbara Jean Leak in 1954, with whom he shared a portion of his life's journey.
